As I am based in Berlin while my Australian girlfriend mainly zips around Asia as a TV journalist, I decided to take two months off from my job at McKinsey to be with her in Myanmar, where I volunteered in urban planning and heritage protection. Right after, McKinsey asked me to stay to join one of our first projects in Myanmar, so I'll be based in Yangon for a few more months -- an exciting place at a pivotal time!

I recently married my college girlfriend, Joanna Johnston, and many Sigmas were in attendance. Greg Smithies, '07, and Nathaniel Abrams, '09, were in the wedding party and Karl Sutaria, '08, served as an usher. The photo shows the large Sigma contingent.

I graduated from Penn Law in May, and I am starting work at Dechert LLP in Philadelphia in October. Additionally, my wife and I moved into an early 19th century row house in the Washington Square West neighborhood of Philadelphia. We hope to remain in Philadelphia for the foreseeable future.

I have moved from 3337 Walnut Street to a 17th century rockoko summer palace - no kidding. I've taken a job in Weimar, Germany, as the Assistent to the President of the ""Klassik Stiftung Weimar"", a foundation that runs the archives of Nietzsche, Goethe, Schiller and many other German authors, as well as the Bauhaus Museum, a couple of palaces, parks, some other museums, and a very old library. I live in one of the palaces we run, in ""Schloss Belvedere"" - it's absurd... so come visit if you're in Germany! My new contact details are: This email address is being protected from spambots.
